One of the scary things is there has been studies, such as the 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment, to understand how some of the people in WW2 could do some of the things they did, and the studies showed that anyone can easily slip into either role of cruel murderous or victim depending on the situation, which means, there is a good chance that the snipers and members of the IDF that do these things are normal ethical people who have somehow been manipulated into these things.... is it still a crime? Yes.... but.... it could have easily been most of us if we were in the same situation. I find that frightening as heck!
