‘New level..’ MEP Clare Daly

The Irish, like many others, were allowed to starve to death when the potato famine happened too. The rich landowners, mostly British and Britian could have helped them but didn't and continued to export food from Ireland until 2 to 3 million had died and/or left. That weighs heavily on the memories of the Irish!
